1953 BMW R67/2 600cc Boxer Twin

This 1953 BMW R67/2 600cc is fresh from a comprehensive restoration to a very good standard. Triple matching numbers for frame and engine. Original Bing carburettors mounted, they are correctly numbered in sequence.

All of the original tinware is still on the bike: mudguards, petrol tank etc.
The restorer has restored other BMWs motorcycles and British cars in the past, so is experienced and knows them well.

The engine is running well but will need a last fine tune of the carbs as it has not covered long distances yet. The original Everbest petrol taps were leaking so new original petrol taps have been ordered and will come with the bike.

Lots of receipts for engine parts come with the bike; many thousand Pounds spent on parts alone.

The only faults to point out are:
Chrome rime on headlight has one small dent on the right hand side.
In a few small areas of the headlamp shell, the paint is a bit uneven. This is not very obvious but it should be mentioned.
The original Everbest petrol taps were leaking, so new ones have been ordered and will be fitted in due course.

The BMW R67/2 comes with current EU registration documents as well as the original 1953 registration documents and the original 1953 numberplate.
