1936 Ariel Red Hunter. 500cc OHV.
This mid 1930s Red Hunter is an older restoration and benefits from a recent service. Beautiful and very presentable. Confirmed matching numbers for frame and engine by Draganfly. The Dating Certificate is with the bike.
The Red Hunter is fitted with upswept exhaust pipes and remains in original condition. Some smaller parts are chromed that should be painted black, like saddle springs, rear stand spring etc. but otherwise very original specification throughout. Original early Smiths speedo mounted in the petrol tank panel together with the original Smiths oil gauge and Lucas tank panel inspection light.
The engine starts easily and sets into a perfect idle. Throttle response is instant. The gears select freely and accurately.
All in all, a very useable, well maintained and original specimen of the Ariel Red Hunter. A great runner to be enjoyed on the road immediately.
Registered for the road with current UK registration documents + all EU taxes paid for registering within the EU.
